Special afternoon Feature
1:00: Robert Kreider, Mennonite Historian, will lead an informal discussion on the history of the Mennonites in Paraguay, and the Mennonite World Conference to be held in Asuncion, July 14-19, 2009.
2:00: Visit to Kauffman Museum in North Newton: The permanent exhibit of this renowned museum tells the story of Russian Mennonites coming to Central Kansas. A new exhibit is entitled, “The Mirror of the Martyrs,” tells the story of Anabaptist persecution during the 1500s & 1600s. Robert Kreider was the key person in developing this exhibit and will introduce the exhibit prior to our moving over to the museum.
