This photo of Elden Tefft (far right) was in Sunday’s Lawrence Journal World. Many years ago Elden spent considerable time in Paraguay teaching sculpture. When Paraguayan sculptor Gustavo Beckelman was in Kansas for the 2008 Paraguayan art exhibit at the Mulvane at Washburn University Gustavo said the Elden’s classes in Paraguay changed the way Gustavo worked. While here he was able to visit with Elden. Just another example of the way the Kansas- Paraguay Partnership has made and impact over the years.
