Events

Please join us at our next quarterly KPP meeting–we are encouraging all members, especially those living near the location of the meeting to attend.

The next meeting is June 6th, 2009  in Emporia on the campus of Emporia State University. 

We will meet in Room 207 in Roosevelt Hall.  Roosevelt Hall faces 12th Avenue between Commercial and Market.  On the attached map, it is point “A”.  There is metered (long-term) parking along market.  There are also visitor parking lots a little further up Market, near the student union.  The closest parking will be the meters. 

 ESU Police and Safety will have the building and room open for you. If there are any problems, you can call them at 620-341-5337.

Meet and greet at 9:30 and the meeting starts at 10:00. 

 Driving Directions from the North:
Take I-35 south
OR, take the turnpike (I-335) south.  take the Emporia exit.  You will be merged on the I-35 north.  It is just a few exits from the toll plaza to the Merchant Street exit.

 Driving directions from the south:
Take I-35 north to the Emporia exit.  You will be merged on the I-35 north.  It is just a few exits from the toll plaza to the Merchant Street exit.  Follow Merchant Street to the stop light at Commercial Street.  Turn left on Commercial.  Go past the stop light at the ESU main entrance.  You will pass Roosevelt Hall. Turn left on Market and park.  There is a small elevator in the building.  Otherwise, any staircase will take you up one floor to room 207.  there are men’s and women’s restrooms on both floors of the building.  Vending machines are located on the first floor.

  1. Hello, Kansas PArtners of the Americas! I am a memeber of the Nebraska Partners – and we are partnered with now 2 states in Brazil – Piaui and Matto Grosso do Sul. I am also a nurse and international consultant in Infection prevention and control. Our chapter has expanded to incude our second Brazilian state and we are developing our website to facilitae communication with our partners and to communicate our mission and vision. I really appreciate your website and have explored it a bit today collecting ideas for ours.
